This is the sort of establishment that will confirm they have delivered your package anywhere from a day to several days, and yes, even maybe WEEKS if you're brave enough to order something from overseas (actually happened to me), BEFORE they actually decide to deliver it to you and seem to be entirely incapable to answer any questions and are completely deflective when confronted about it beforehand.
The older guy at the window is always rude. I'm sure most people in Pampa know exactly who i am talking about. Just an example. My mom passed away and I changed the PO Box into my name and he was very rude during the process. After a few months i got a notice in the PO Box that i needed to renew it and it was in my mothers name. I came in and it was Mr Scrooge again. he got frustrated with me and told me that I didn't have a PO Box at all and someone didn't process the paper work right. HE WAS THE ONE WHO DID THE PAPER WORK
Complete jerks. Don't even deserve a one star they deserve none! If you call them they are jerks to you on the phone if you walk in they look and act towards you like they are some how better than you. They are lazy toads and don't want to do their JOB!!
They don't care about you period. Some of the mail carriers are great and this isn't pointed at them. The postmaster is a liar and the little froggy looking guy with the glasses still doesn't know how the mail works and he's been there for years. Their service sucks and they don't care that it sucks.
The mailman that does the route through Hampton Village does not leave packages most of the time they claim they leave notes in your box stating that your package needs to be picked up but it's mysteriously you can never find the notes in your box that is locked up with a key
It is painfully clear that from all points, Pampa's local USPS does not value your time, your business, nor do they respect your property. Professionalism is way out of practice for those who run this place.
I have to say that this is genuinely the worst postal office I've ever dealt with so far in my life. There is a true lacking of integrity, punctuality, and tact with this local establishment. It is woefully tragic, especially when delivery is concerned.
Once in the actual office, you must consider yourself lucky if you happen to get the one and only clerk who I can identify to be kind, caring, and competent-- sadly, I can't remember their name, but you'll know them when you get them. Otherwise, be prepared to be handled by any of the other impatient, rude, clerks, who are transparently uninterested in helping you with any issue you need their help with.
